Dear Valued Customers & Business Partners,
On Friday March 20, Governor Pritzker announced a shelter in place order for the state of Illinois, ordering all Illinois residents to stay at home and all non-essential businesses to shut their doors until April 7th.
Because JTI plays a critical role in supporting those who are directly responsible for keeping our infrastructure safe and reliable across the United States, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security classifies JTI as an essential business, which means JTI will continue operating during this time. Although we are not experiencing any supply chain delays at this time, we are asking our customers to plan ahead as best they can so that we can best serve your needs and avoid any potential disruptions.
JTI continues to take precautions to keep our employees and our customers as safe as possible. All of our employees are taking the necessary safety precautions as recommended by the CDC. While the situation remains fluid, JTI’s network remains strong and we look forward to serving you during these challenging times.
If you have any questions regarding JTI’s plans or protocols, please visit our website or contact your account representative. As always, JTI has your back!
